During meeting discussion, staff gave estimates of potential insurance premium and corporate stabilization assessments in 2010; these could range from 0.1-0.25 percent (premium) and 0.05-0.15 percent (stabilization) of insured shares. The corporate proposed rule is out for a 90-day comment period; the share insurance final regulation takes effect 30 days after publication in the Federal Register. The NCUA 2010 budget is $200.9 million, with an increase to $215.9 million estimated for 2011. The operating fee scale was adjusted, with fee rates reduced 1.58 percent; the overhead transfer rate is 57.2 percent.
